I can’t believe that this is it, the end of Summer 2008. Tomorrow, I board my flight outta this place, for the much anticipated conclusion to this summer. They weren’t effing around when they said time flies.

If I were to summarize the whole summer, from May 2008 till August 2008, and put it all into one word, it would simply be:
Undeniably, this past summer has been THE summer of Upgrades:
- Bye Lakeesha, Hi Stacey!
- Bye Nano, Hi Touch!
- Bye Boss, Hi Bvlgari!
- Bye Dell, Hi Apple!
- Bye 17th, Hi Robson/Granville!
- Bye Fiji, Hi Voss!
- Bye Holt, Hi Gucci on West Georgia!
- Bye Pearl, Hi Curve!
- Bye Lazy, Hi Volunteer!
- Bye Nike, Hi Alife!
- Bye Prairie Winds, Hi Stanley Park!
- Bye Malibu, Hi SoCo!
- Bye Whitehorn, Hi Downtown!
From umbrellas, belts and loafers, to denim, shades and jackets, I’ve upgraded my wardrobe this summer. From walking around downtown to kayaking in the ocean, I upgraded my recreation experiences. From Republik on Granville to Mile1One in Calgary, I’ve upgraded my party-jurr. And from loads of groups of friends from Junior High, High School, University, the Cousins, Family & Work, I’ve upgraded to a few, select individuals who mean the world to me.
Thanks Beyonce, for teaching me the importance of an upgrade.
