THANKSGIVING DINNER @ NINA’S NEW HOUSE – OCTOBER 10, 2011
Its always interesting to me that our neighbors to the South celebrate their Thanksgiving more than a month after us Canadians do. Nonetheless, for all my American readers, I wish you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving weekend (and Black Friday!). Even more interesting is that we only dedicate one day in the entire year to take a moment, step back, and give thanks for all that God has blessed us with. This year, besides the turkey and pie, the discount shopping, and the football games, stop and ask yourself what you are truly grateful for – memories, abilities, family, a job. These intangible things truly merit this holiday. So, what are you thankful for this year?
