In the hustle and bustle of unpacking and re-organizing my life the past few weeks, I, without meaning to, stumbled upon some pretty dope and picture-perfect scenes in and around my bedrooms. They made me stop and think back to certain memories, special moments, and as I stood and gazed at this particular one, I had the sense to grip my camera and take a quick shot. Pictured above: the Caribbean drum I picked up during my recent trip that changed the course of my life forever to the Dominican Republic, a Jordan One that was gifted to me via Mikey back during the Christmas of 2007, wrapped around it leather string used sometimes by the Sales Associates at Louis Vuitton to wrap their drawer boxes. Hidden by the mini-sneaker is a tiny model of a sail boat that I bought during my UNICEF trip to Guyana back in September of 2008, standing beside a bottle of “Patron” that I got in a goodie bag at the London night-club I partied at after the Spring/Summer Burberry Prorsum fashion show, in front of a Starbucks-Cup mug that I gifted myself with back in High School when I used to both love and work for that company, and a miniature Eifel Tower that I picked up the last time I was in Paris. And imagine, all those endless memories, sitting on my bookshelf as the sun shone through from my window. Its almost overwhelming to realize how truly blessed one is.
