yo where ya been dude?
Accept my apologies for the lack of any activity at all on IYBC. I know you’ve all come to expect an almost daily, if not weekly, update regarding fashion, lifestyle, photography and general inspiration on life. Pretty much since June, my entire life (and I literally mean every single aspect of my life) has been on overhaul. Frankly, you’ve all gotten little updates here and there, pretty much ending in whirlwind trip to Europe. To be fair, I landed back home almost a month ago, and still the blog has been lacking, right?
Landing home didn’t mean that I came home. My vacation continued as I hosted my dope friends from Holland here in Calgary, and now, finally, I’m home. I’M HOME! Almost three months of living out of a suitcase, trying to put together outfits from limited resources, finding random outlets to charge my phone and laptop, job-hopping here and there, living in a leased condo in downtown Calgary, I can finally say I’ve once again found some structure in my life.
So here goes. Europe was indescribable, and as the Discovering Europe posts show/tell, I’ve still got some bits to update ya’ll on. I landed a wicked position working part-time with my best friend, and yes, the Holiday season is just around the corner. As they always say, I’ve got big things on the go, and I’m praying that God will be able to guide me in the right direction.
I’m mentally, physically and emotional exhausted, but I have a fresh appreciation on everything in life, and hopefully you can now see that via my blog. Its so good to be back home, in my room, with my closet, with the fridge downstairs chalk-full of my mom’s wonderful cooking, with my bathroom, my spot to park my car, and the pure organized structure of my life which I’ve worked so hard to accomplish, and now can once again enjoy.
