The view from the Lobby at Early Morning.
We spent quiet a bit of extra dough-flow to book rooms at the Riu Palace as opposed to the one of the regular Riu Resorts, and oh how thankful we were to have made that decision. The service, the cleanliness, the staff, the amenities, the facilities, everything was definitely up to their 5-star plus standards. The 356 guestroom resort was located within the Punta Cana Riu Complex, and since we stayed at the Palace, we had access to all the Resorts. We did venture out a few times, but honestly, the Macao Palace was our home, literally our home, for that week, and it’s where we felt most comfortable. So that’s where we spent most of our time.
