It’s not often that my family and I get to don some Indian-esque outfits, eat buckets of butter chicken, devour two-tiered cakes via Cakeworks, and dance some good old fashioned bhangra. So when the opportunity comes knocking, we grab it! Thus was the case for the celebration of my Uncle & Aunt’s tenth wedding anniversary, also deemed the “Paper Anniversary”. My parents hosted the affair tonight at a quaint little restaurant, which we booked for the night. True to Western tradition, we used paper decorations and the happy couple renewed their vows with two new rings. True to Eastern tradition, however, I rocked a Kurta-Pajama and had rose petals/tea lights ready for the grand entrance. Overall, we had a dope time, and after wards were all able to sit in the house and talk about what an enjoyable experience that was.
