Arriving in Europe for Milan Fashion Week With WOW Air

The low-cost airline is headquartered in Iceland, and its main hub of Reykjavik is where all flights come into and fly out of. Having had my fair share of 'budget travel', I thought I had an idea of what to expect with WOW Air. But let me tell you, I was literally blown away. Attentive and neat cabin crew, pleasant and courteous check-in agents and flight crews, spacious and beautiful interior cabins, a magenta brand that wasn't overdone - I kept turning to Monika in excitement about the insanely pleasant experience!

The layover in Iceland is fast, efficient, and seamless, and also the European immigration line-up (hello Canadian passport) actually whizzed by quickly, meaning when we landed in Milan, we just walked off the plane because we had already received customs clearance in Reykjavik. From Toronto, the flight to Iceland was only 5 hours, and then another few hours to get to interior Europe.
