IN GENEROUS PARTNERSHIP WITH VISIT BARBADOS & SEA BREEZE BEACH HOUSE
You know how much of a travel proponent I am, and to say that I have stayed in my fair share of hotels is no understatement (to explore more travel related article, click here). That being said, one of the most important and sometimes trickiest part of planning your travels is deciding on which hotel to stay at. Especially if you're going to be indulging in a beach / tropical vacation, your hotel choice is so important as it usually also implies where you will be eating and drinking if its an all inclusive. So today, I am sharing three tips on how you can hammer out the perfect option for your next beach trip!
For our first-ever trip to the beautiful island of Barbados, we were thrilled to partner with the recently renovated Sea Breeze Beach House located along the Southern Coast in Christ Church. The property stands true to its name of "sea breeze" as the entire complex is designed like a family beach house, with the sound of the sea offering the perfect background music. As you'll see, this hotel ticked off all my requirements for a "must recommend" spot:
- the room decor -
When on vacation, I am a stickler for the place where I will be waking up, getting ready, and lounging around. I'm not extremely outdoors-y, and thus, the design and furniture of the room is very important. Lucky for me, the just-renovated Sea Breeze Beach House has a collection of luxury suites with a beautiful nod of culture, comfort, and grandeur.
- the (posing) spaces -
Although some might think this only applies to bloggers + creators, but actually, almost everyone that goes on vacation wants to make sure they take tons of photos of themselves and their surroundings, and this, a slew of beautiful backdrops and spaces is high up on my list of requirements when booking a hotel. A property with some interior, some exterior, and some in between spots is key, and Sea Breeze definitely delivers in this regard.
- the dining options -
Although the common thought is "you're on vacation, eat the cake!", in reality, I think that since you're on vacation, instead of over-eating, you should instead be eating good and amazing food. We were so lucky because the Sea Breeze works with award-winning chefs which resulted in both a-la-carte AND buffet dining to be literally some of the best cuisine we have ever enjoyed. The hotel offers five restaurants which cater to every taste level and every eating need.
These are just some of my tips + the checklist that I follow when choosing an all-inclusive resort. I am so curious about you all - what are you requirements?
