This campaign celebrates our heritage and our timeless Burberry icons. The energy of the images and the dynamic cast reflect the different attitudes and expressions of the Burberry guy and girl. …CHRISTOPHER BAILEY, BURBERRY CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER.
I’m so glad that some of my favorite looks from the runway are represented in this campaign. The bondage shirt with the dark suit, the ruffled, power-shoulder trench, and the portrait tee. Alongside Emma Watson are Emma’s younger brother Alex Watson, Matt Gilmour, Max Hurd and George Craig to represent the “Burberry guy and girl”. I find it interesting that its not the Burberry Man and Woman. Clearly, Christopher Bailey is showing the world the younger, more hip Burberry. These photographs represent Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London and Burberry Brit. Can you tell which peices belong to which collection? Remember, IYBC did a quick tutorial on all three back when I visited Burberry Global Headquarters in September last year. Read that post here.
