It seems that every time I walk through Paris, I find myself concluding to myself that I just found my absolutely favourite spot in the French capital. Way back in 2009, I remember it used to be Place Vendôme – with the world’s must luxurious and exclusive jewelry shops neatly lined up around the historic and so French square. Later, when I visited with my then-girlfriend/now-wife, I remember it was the corners before Rue Cambon, leading up to Coco Chanel’s apartment – it is an incredibly peaceful but so chic street in the center of bustling Paris. It also shifted to Rue di Rivoli and my favourite shopping has always been on Rue de Saint Honoré. But this time when we were in Paris, I found myself back on Avenue Montaigne every day for shopping, and on the hunt for secluded Palais spaces, which we thankfully found here, the day after the Louis Vuitton show took place there.
As my beautiful wife has so eloquently put it already, there is just so much to discover in Paris, that it is really hard to pick one favourite! We can’t wait to be in September and see what other treasures unfold there.
