I’m going to do a bit of a throwback, and “caption” my favourite moments from New York earlier this month.
The city so nice, they named it twice! Something about the NYC air made you want to wake up, be dope, go out, meet people, eat, drink and be merry. Truly, with no exaggeration, there is an unmistakable energy in that city that pulsates through it’s core, and we were definitely infected. The best / worst part is, the itch for the energy is impossible to shake once you return to wherever you came from.
After a very successful stint in Toronto for Fashion Week, we decided to hop on a quick flight and spend my birthday in good old New Yooooork – and boy was it good! From street meat in Times Square to champagne at the top of the Standard, shopping at Bergdofs to shopping in Brooklyn, and …
Life is all about firsts – this year was the first time that I woke up on my birthday in New York City, the first time that I strolled through Central Park, had brunch at Sarabeths, went shopping at Bergdof Goodman, and perused the Museum of Modern Art.
I know that its technically now called “The Top of the Standard”, but its definitely more fun to call it the “Boom Boom Room!”.
