It's not doubt that 2020 has turned the fashion world upside down. All of a sudden, loungewear and sweatsuits are all the rage, because most of us now live in them daily. Fashion Week? Pfft, a thing of the past, as travel restrictions means Milan and Paris was full of Europeans only, no American or Asian press or industry folk.
Sneakers, sweatpants, skincare - these have reigned supreme. And for the most part, everything that has to do with comfort and practicality is what is winning. So it's no shock that if you scroll on Instagram or flip open a magazine (people still read those, right?) that you'll find this fat, chunky, utilitarian military style boots with massive rubber soles are literally everywhere now that the temperatures are dropping.
Some would argue it's Bottega Veneta's Tire Boot that caused this surge, other's would say it's Prada's Monolith Boot. Regardless of who started it, the fact is, this trend is here to stay, and it's actually very practical. Who doesn't want fat boots to stomp around in during the snowy months? And be warm AF? And cozy at the same time? Sign me up!

I'm usually aware of trends (I have a whole category of posts featuring them!), but don't always buy into everything I see, because that's the fun of having your own style, right? But this one, as I said, is both fly but also so practical, so why not.
What about you? Do you have any trends you're loving this season? Would you try this one?
