I was preparing a presentation for UNICEF the other night, and I wanted to confirm the name of the one of the Correctional Institutes we had the privilege of visiting, so I did a quick Google. What came up wasn’t the proper name, but my buddy’s very own website! Arvind, a remarkable individual who was born in Northern India, raised in Nairobi Kenya, was educated in a British School (giving him a very dope English accent), and is currently persuing his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Math AND Development Studies at McGill University in Montreal, is pictured far left, in a photo shot while we were on a speed-boat across a seriously scary river. It was because of Arv that I became actually interested in SLR/DSLR photography, and I promised myself that once I got back to Canada, I would invest in a “real” camera for sure. I had the opportunity of playing around with one his “babies” while we were in Guyana, and the ISO settings, shutter speed, lighting and angles – it all excites me!
Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know that he’s on Blogger too, and he has his very own website! For sure I’ll be flying him to wherever I get married, so he can take some wicked shots. His work is amazing! Check him out fam.
