The Fall 2009 Runway shows have begun already, with a whole slew taking place in Milan over the last week and weekend. I’m so excited to begin reviewing these collections, and posting my findings here. So far, Burberry Prorsum, Roberto Cavali, Dolce & Gabanna, Prada & Salvatore Ferragamo are my favorites. A lot of designers, like Emperio Armani, tried to fuse the energy of the current Green movement, into urban city wear. Most of these efforts resulted in beautiful, tastefull Fall peices. Others, like Prada, had a simplistic but luxorious collection. I love how the Fashion Calender is always so ahead of the game, because as the rest of the world begins dreaming of shorts and flip-flops for the summer months ahead, the Fashionistas of the world look ahead to overcoats and winter boots. Anyway, I’m looking forward to detailed analysis of the different collections, so stay tuned!
