On my return flight home from Amsterdam, I found myself once again at the Chicago O’Hare International Airport, and with a few hours to kill, and a few (useless) USDs to burn, I browsed the bookstore within the Terminal, and picked up this eye-locker. I’m so glad I did because my late evening flight to Calgary was the perfect setting to get lost in Grisham’s illustrious world. The sun was setting in the sky as we soared some 35 000 feet above sea level, and since I was on a hella empty flight, I got comfortable, and literally didn’t put down this book till I landed in (cold) YYC.
Its funny because at the moment, I’m in the “middle” of so many books; Me to We, Notting Hell (since the Dominican!), The Outliers, The Secret Goldfish and Dead Money, but I have a feeling The Associate will most definitely be finished before any of these. The past couple of days have been incredibly busy for me, but I’ve still managed to squeeze in a few chapters here and there. I won’t provide any spoilers on IYBC, but seriously, go pick up this book. I guarantee you won’t be able to put it down.
