New York Fashion Week sponsored by Mercedes-Benz is officially over, and all the excitement has now moved to London, where the fashionable are flocking to all the shows and taking in the sights and sounds. NYFW this year, with Vogue’s Fashions Night Out and the rest of the excitement surrounding it, looks like it was most definitely a huge hit. Since I was too busy preparing for my trip to Europe to report during the actual show, I’ve compiled a list of the hottest trends seen on the runway via Men.Style.Com & WWDMens.
New York Fashion Week Trend oo1:
Bold Patterns | Bold Plaids
Marc by Marc Jacobs (2) + Michael Kors (2)
Nicholas K, Richard Chai, Y-3, Yigal Azrouell
While seen mostly in shirts; tee shirts, button downs, cardigans and sweaters, Michael Kors also threw a large over-sized pattern on a few suits for his Spring/Summer 2010 show. Personally, this trend works wonders for me considering I have so many “loud” tee shirts that have just been rotting away in my closet. Time to bring ’em out for next season!
All shows held in New York.
