I do apologize for the lack of posts lately. May has literally flown by and I don’t think I’ve yet had time to catch my breath and figure out whats been going on. But just like my girlfriend always reassures me, things always find a place for themselves, and this whirlwind month will, too, pass. Well, pass it has, and tonight is the last weekend of May already, which means one more weekend in Canada and then I jet set across to Central American, for some much needed reading, relaxing and photo taking in the beautiful Dominican Republic.
If you’re reading this from Calgary, you’ll agree that its nice that we finally have some above-decent weather, and walking down 17th avenue yesterday evening was beyond enjoyable. I feel like the city is finally alive for the season. And I also discovered just how easy Twitter is (see sidebar to follow me)! Anyway, yesterday couldn’t have been more perfect. I had two separate Holt Renfrew dates, picked up some killer peices at a wicked price (more on that later), randomly ran into a really good friend down Stephen Avenue, sat on a patio, enjoyed wicked Mexican food & drinks via El Sombrero on 17th Ave, and had an early night in.
That was especially nice since today was one of the first Saturdays in almost six months that I had off, so I enjoyed the sheer bliss of sleeping in. Ran some errands with mom and cleaned my room, and now I’m pondering what to wear for the big festivities tonight at … (just guess?) … OPUS! BFS right? Oh well, no-line & no-cover never gets old. Enjoy your Saturday night! I know I will.
