LISBON, PORTUGAL
I mean lets face it, one of the best parts about travelling is getting to try all the new and exciting food. I have to say, I have been pleasantly surprised by how stereotypical food is actually not that stereotyped. In France, you can really buy baguettes and croissants everywhere; Fondue restaurants are on every corner in Switzerland; sausage and pretzel are readily available everywhere in Germany.
So I really enjoy going out and seeing what is the "standard" food available in a new city. And of course, Lisbon did not disappoint in its offering. I wish we could have stayed in Portugal for weeks so that we could properly have indulged in all the delicacies we witnessed. But in the short time that we were there, I am happy to report back that everything was fresh and delicious, and I have thus put together a video food diary of my favorite Portuguese things!
