LISBON, PORTUGAL
A few years ago, my very good friend Cat G came back from a trip to Europe and could not stop talking about her experience in Portugal. Later, when we arrived in Berlin, I made an amazing from from Faro, who could not stop talking about the Portuguese bakeries in her home-country. So when my wife brought up the idea a few weeks back, I just knew we had to book a trip to Lisbon! She did some awesome research, and armed with some tips from our good friends, we headed to Portugal.
The city offers a moderate climate, colorful architecture and a rich and deep history. And yes, the pastries are probably among the best I have ever ever had! The views were stunning, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the vibe was so relaxing. This is a city that we have to visit once again. And this is why I am sharing a simple photo diary of our amazing time in Lisbon.

I have said it before, and I will continue to say it, we are so fortunate to be able to experience the world over and over again. To wake up in new cities, to discover new breakfasts, to get lost in new streets. And the best part is, they are only new to us. They are the reality and the history and the every day to the millions of others who inhabit them. And that is an amazing - and humbling - feeling.
