Menswear shows began in January of this year over in Europe, but in the “mainstream” industry, the 2015 Fashion Calendar officially got kicked off with the SS2015 shows being held in New York as we speak. The month will continue into London, Milan and end in Paris. In reviewing all of the content online the past few days, one thing is very clear: its freezing in New York! Fashion folk have had to trade the caped over-coats for down-filled parkas, and the stilettos for sensible thick-soled boots. Mother Nature is reminding us once again that the only one with ultimate control is her, so treat your planet nicely folks! That being said, we have truly enjoyed viewing everyone’s cold weather style interpretations from just-as-cold Canada.
