Pharrell Williams x Moncler

Of course, it makes sense doesn’t it? One of the greatest individuals of all time collaborates with one of the greatest brands of all time. I was pleasantly surprised, but far from shocked, when I stumbled upon this last week. Pharrell, who completely dips himself in luxury on a daily basis, designs for Italian down company Moncler. It’s actually a direct partnership with Skateboard P’s own textile company, Bionic, which recycles bottles and turns them into yarns and fabrics using the latest technologies. This particular piece is a reversible puffer vest, inspired by a traditional bullet-proof vest. Although Pharrell has never rapped about guns or drugs, no one can deny he is pretty bad-ass. The lining of the jacket has a print designed by Japanese artist, Keita Sugiura, who is known for his nature inspired creations. Of course, release dates are yet to come, but who wants to bet that Colette in Paris will have first dibs on this ish?
