CENTER STREET CHURCH – 11.26.11
Essentially, everything boils down to this moment. The traditions and outfits are great and all, but the quintessential ‘wedding’ moment is that white dress, the black suit, the bridal party, the classical music, the rings, the vows and the ‘I Do’, in front of both families and all the friends, but most importantly, in front of God. All festivities prior are in preparation of, and everything following is in celebration, of this moment. The wedding ceremony was beautiful and to-the-point, as it should be. B, being the emotionally stimulated person that she is, was tearing as soon as we sat down on the groom’s side of the sanctuary in the gorgeous Center Street Church. When the groom, my uncle, walked in, she was legit crying. And the entrance with the bride and her parents was breathtaking – the waterworks were in full effect for B. Although I don’t blame her for wild emotions; there was this electric energy in the space – everybody was so genuinely excited and happy, and the love of both the couple and the families could be felt intensely. It was almost mesmerizing. I truly feel honored to have been witness to this greatest of unions. Click “READ MORE” to see a snapshot of photos from the beautiful ceremony.
